Today I received the notification that our 501 (c) (3) status is official!!

All contributions to Dance From the Heart are tax deductible... this will allow us to truly bring the vision much further in 2008. Once our September benefit is over, we will be ready to start working on the applications for anyone that wishes to have a chapter in their city or state.

To those that have been asking about this, and have been patiently waiting for me to get back with you... I thank you, and hope that you will be patient just a couple of weeks longer. We are ready to go as soon as the Sept 29th show is done.

And to think.. this started off in 2005 with a tribe conversation about how to help tsunami victims. Thanks to all that have helped throughout this process. I'm proud to be a part of a dance community that can make such wonderful things happen.
